Dr Peter Korpal Shares the Symptoms of Bad Breath and How You Can Prevent Bad Breath?

What are the Symptoms of Bad Breath?

It can be difficult to assess how your own breath smells. Some people worry they have bad breath but do not and others have bad breath and don’t even know it. The cause may be poor oral hygiene, which results in a build up of dental plaque, leading to dental decay and cavities, food build up, and development of unhealthy gums leading to gingivitis.

How can You Prevent Bad Breath?

The best way to prevent bad breath is to brush your teeth twice a day, and floss your teeth and brush your tongue once a day to control the development of dental plaque.

If these simple hygiene techniques do not solve the problem of bad breath, you may need to see one of our Dentists to investigate other causes.
